FOR SAFETY REASON, STOP using Plug & Socket (13A or 15A) as electrical connection for water heater installations because they are unsafe. For replacement, a SIRIM Tested & ST Approved Splash Proof Water Heater Connector shall be used for water heater connection. It is rated at 25 Amp and complies to fix wiring requirement. It provides safe wiring connection between wall’s leftover wire connections (after removal of existing socket in the bathroom) to the water heater via flexible wire. This model is squarish shape, and it’s meant for Commonwealth countries which apply squarish plug back box, for countries i.e. Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong and etc.
