FOR SAFETY REASON, STOP using Plug & Socket (13A or 15A) as electrical connection for water heater installations because they are unsafe. For replacement, a SIRIM Tested & ST Approved Splash Proof Water Heater Connector shall be used for water heater connection. It is rated at 30 Amp and complies to fix wiring requirement. It provides safe wiring connection between wall’s leftover wire connections (after removal of existing socket in the bathroom) to the water heater via flexible wire. This model is rectangular in shape and it is meant for American plug type of back box, for countries i.e. Philippines and etc.
